It should, provided your email matches your GitHub account and the commit qualifies under GitHub’s contribution rules. GitHub says profile updates can take up to 24 hours.
Can I put this on my résumé?+
You can put anything on your résumé. Your interviewer can also ask questions.
What if attribution does not work?+
